Cottages & Gardens Publications is seeking a Web editor/curator to join its Norwalk, C.T., team. Focusing on high-end design, the C&G magazines, website, and other digital content cover architecture, interior design, landscape design, art, and entertaining. Publications include: Connecticut Cottages & Gardens (CTC&G), Hamptons Cottages & Gardens (HC&G) and New York Cottages & Gardens (NYC&G).
The Web editor will research, develop, write, edit, proofread, and post content with the editorial team using a content management system (CMS); establish and nurture content partnerships, coordinate sponsor materials, and manage and market the website, including SEO.
This full-time Web editor position requires a bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience as a writer/editor and a coordinator/manager on a Web-content team. The successful candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, understanding of SEO and Web tracking, and attention to detail. Experience with HTML, Photoshop, and CMS will also be beneficial.
