------------
The American Copy Editors Society (ACES) will hold its 17th national conference April 4-6 in St. Louis. ACES is an international membership organization providing training, networking, and support for editing professionals, students, and teachers. The annual conference is a three-day event that includes workshops, panel discussions, social gatherings, and a banquet and keynote speech. A national summit on plagiarism and fabrication, a collaboration with a number of journalism and news organizations, will be held on the morning of April 5.
Peter Sokolowski, Merriam-Webster editor at large, will be the keynote speaker. Readers of the Copyediting blog will find a number of familiar names featured among the sessions and panels listed on the conference schedule, including editor Erin Brenner, online editor Dawn McIlvain Stahl, and several editors who have been interviewed for the blog: Mark Allen, Gerri Berendzen, Merrill Perlman, Christine Steele, Ruth Thaler-Carter, and Bill Walsh.
Register now to get the early-bird discounts that end this Friday, Feb. 15. For ACES members registering early, the three-day conference is only $200 ($75 for students). Early-bird non-members pay only $395 ($125 for students). One- and two-day options are also available.

I'm impressed, I need to say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that is both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you might have hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the concern is some thing that not enough consumers are speaking intelligently about. I'm incredibly pleased that I stumbled across this in my search for some thing relating to this.
