Two Easy Infographic Résumé Generators

Hoping and planning for more work or a different job in 2012? After setting up a more efficient job search and replacing the buzzwords in your LinkedIn profile, you may want to consider a few more clicks to turn that profile into an infographic résumé (or t-shirt?). Services such as Vizualize.me or Re.vu use the information in your LinkedIn profile to populate a slick, graphic résumé. For those really wanting to wear their résumés on their sleeves, Visualize.me has recently partnered with ResumeShirts.com.
Eugene Woo, cofounder of Vizualize.me, explains to Business Insider, “The advantage of the infographic resume is that you can summarize everything in five seconds. It’s nice to look at.” According to Woo, many potential employers seek to “get a sense of who the person is. Humanize the name on the piece of paper.” As the Re.vu tagline advises, “Don’t send a resume. Share your story.” A Google image search for “infographic resume” reveals that many are now taking this advice and presenting their work experience and potential through visually interesting and efficient infographics.
Vizualize.me and Re.vu are both free, can be set up in a few minutes, include a number of customization options, allow manual entry (instead of imported data), and have built-in methods for tracking basic stats. Both plan to launch premium accounts. At this early stage, Visualize.me seems faster and easier to use, but Re.vu has a larger number of graphics and features to work with, creating a more visually appealing and unique final product.
If you’re looking for a fresh approach for your résumé, Vizualize.me and Re.vu are quick and easy places to start.

One thing I forgot to mention about Re.vu and that your examples demonstrate nicely -- custom background pictures. Thanks for dropping by and adding to the discussion!
