This is an BASIC SKILLS course.
The paperless office promised us less clutter, but too often we find ourselves creating, sending, and receiving electronic files faster than we can keep track of them. In this course, Paul Lagasse will show you how to set up a personalized, frictionless system for managing your electronic files by identifying what you need to save, how and where to save it, and when to get rid of it.
It will also cover tips for managing collaboratively authored documents that live in the cloud, and provide you with a set of simple rules for reining in drafts, revisions, and versions before they have a chance to proliferate out of control.
This course will:
- Provide you with a simple and practical definition of file management that’s easy to remember and apply.
- Explain the advantages of a file management system based on the client/project life cycle.
- Guide you through the steps involved in setting up a personalized, easy-to-use file management system on your computer and cloud accounts.
- Help you implement and maintain version control on complex projects.
All audio conference and webinar times are in Eastern Time (ET).
