Are you new to plain language editing? Have a project waiting for you to complete? In the middle of one and aren’t sure how to proceed? It can seem like a huge task. We all want to make plain language work. This class lays out how to ensure you are successful from start to finish.
This webinar will set out what plain language can do, highlight researched benefits, and discuss how to create messages for different media that are clear and concise. Once you know the steps involved, have an understanding of how to go about the tasks, and gather tools to help you, you can get to work confidently.
This course will:
- Define the five process steps in plain language
- Show you how to achieve plain language goals
- Share tools and resources for plain language planning, editing, and testing
